Ingredients

1 tsp olive oil

1 onion, finely chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

Pinch of cayenne powder

400g can of chopped tomatoes

A handful fresh basil, chopped

A handful fresh parsley, chopped

Salt & black pepper

Method

Gently heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and cook until translucent.

Add the garlic, cayenne and tomatoes and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Add basil and parsley and blitz in your blender to make a smooth sauce.
