Spiced Orange Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 150g cashew nuts
  • 50g pecans or walnuts
  • 75g dried apricots
  • 50g Linwoods milled flaxseed with coQ10
  • 40g oats
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 large orange 

Method

  • Place the nuts, apricots, flaxseed, oats and spices in a food processor and blitz for a couple of minutes until well mixed. 
  • Zest the orange and add to the mix. 
  • Squeeze the juice for half the orange. 
  • Turn the food processor on and slowly pour in the orange juice. 
  • Mix until well combined. 
  • Roll the mixture into bite size balls. Makes about 20.
