Jane works with a number of charities and community groups, including Cancer Lifeline, East Belfast Community Development Agency, Health in Mind NI, Libraries NI, and she is also the local ambassador for The Big Lunch, funded by The Big Lottery.
‘’The Big Lunch has benefited significantly from having Jane as our local ambassador as her energy and enthusiasm are infectious. We hoped asking Jane to be our ambassador would encourage healthier choices at street parties and community events but it has done so much more. We have built a stronger network through shared contacts and motivated more people to join in and make more sustainable local food choices. Jane is a busy individual but as the saying goes if you want something done well ask a busy person.”
