Now that we are resigned to the new ‘normal’ of working from home, I wonder what’s on your shopping list for snacks. Do you go for healthy snack options or grab some chocolate or crisps? Are you still buying the same bars and biscuits you always have, or are you making healthier (or unhealthier!) choices between meals?
Have a healthy barbecue whatever the weather
Barbecuing can be a healthy way to eat if you forget about the burnt sausages and undercooked chicken legs. Delicious marinated cuts of meat, fish or veggies with a variety of eye-catching salads not only look appetising, but can be good for you too.
Has lockdown changed how you think about food?
One of my clients commented that she thinks we will all be eating better the other side of lockdown, as we get used to cooking from scratch and home baking, rather than convenience foods and quick fixes. I hope she is right.
